Freelance Videographer [Part-Time]

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for recording government meetings and community events in Franklin County. Northwest Access TV covers municipal and school meetings, sports, concerts, presentations, etc. If you have a passion for video production, we want to hear from you. Hours vary from 5-10 per week, mostly evenings. Position may also require working remotely depending on community needs. Equipment and basic training will be provided. Some camera experience is required. Reliable transportation is a must.

We are currently in need of the following position:

Minute Taker

Northwest Access TV currently has an opening for a Minute Taker. The selected candidate is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director in the form of taking minutes during the board of directors’ meeting. This is a part-time position at a wage of $75 per meeting. Meetings take place on the third Monday of each month, averaging 2 hours.


  1. Attend all board meetings when required. (Third Monday of each month)
  2. Record all key decisions and discussion items of the meetings of the board
  3. Ensure minutes of each meeting are provided to the Executive Director within one week of that meeting occurring
  4. Maintain an impartial stance while transcribing notes for future review.

Required Skills:

  1. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  2. Excellent transcription, writing, and processing skills.
  3. Ability to take detailed minutes.
  4. Accurate note taking and key boarding skills
  5. Knowledge in board governance processes and Robert’s Rules of Order is a plus
  6. Organization and communication skills are desired.
